The February performance of "Un Petite Cabaret" was snowed out and moved to March. The show was packed and a hit with raving reviews describing Tara's voice as "perfectly pitched, sumptuous tones" and "elegant".
The following week, Steinway & Sons in Melville, NY featured Tara in a solo recital entitled: "This Is Not Your Mother's Opera". She sang Quatre Chansons de Jeunesse by Debussy, French & Italian opera arias, sacred pieces and ended with the comical "The Girl in 14G". Steinway & Sons will have Tara back in July with another solo program. There are many projects Tara is involved in. She continues to audition for competitions, YAPs, small companies and other opportunities that avail themselves.

She has been studying with soprano, Janet Williams. After seven months of intense training with Janet and a series of professionals in masterclass settings, her voice is ready for the next step. This past week, she auditioned for the Gerda Lissner Competition. She will continue with competitions such as the Fritz and Lavinia Jensen Competition and Licia Albanese-Puccini Competition. |
